Spending plan 2021: The Financing Minister stated that the capital expenditure will be increased to 5.54 lakh croreBudget 2021: Financing Minister Nirmala Sitharaman provided Spending plan 2021 in the Parliament on February 1 and announced that the capital expenditure will be increased to 5.54 lakh crore, which is around 34 percent higher than in 2015.

Ms Sitharaman likewise expanded the National Infrastructure Pipeline to cover 7,400 projects by 2025.

She announced the creation of an advancement financing organization called the National Bank for Financing Infrastructure and Development, with a capital base of 20,000 crore and a financing target of 5 lakh crore over a three-year horizon.
